3 LETR NSW Representatives travel to Korea

The Special Olympics World Winter Games will be held in PyeongChang, Korea in late January and early February 2013.
Three members of LETR New South Wales will participate in the LETR Final Leg in support of the games.
They are:
Darryal Abeyasekera Torch Runner - Team 9
Don Stuart Team Leader - Team 10
Scott Whyte Support Team member
The Final Leg commences in Seoul on Wednesday 23 January 2013 and concludes with the World Winter Games Opening Ceremony in PyeongChang on Tuesday 29 January 2013.

Visit to Police College, Goulburn on Monday 20 August 2012

On Monday, 20 August 2012, members of the LETR Committee travelled to the NSW Police College in Goulburn and presented to the recruits of Class 316 on Torch Run and Special Olympics. As a result, many of the students have signed up to support our Charity. Many thanks to them.
What a Great Effort - Rose Bay LAC Charity Dinner

A great initiative put together by the staff of Rose Bay Local Area Command resulted in almost $15,000 being donated to Law Enforcement Torch. The Rose Bay Charity Dinner in recognition of the New South Wales Police Force's 150th Anniversary raised almost $50,000 for 4 very worthy causes, being Youth off the Streets, Police Legacy, Law Enforcement Torch Run and the David Rixon Memorial Fund. Thanks go to all the staff at Rose Bay, with a special mention to Inspector Andrew Sipos and Detective Inspector Damian Henry.
Rose Bay Local Area Command Charity Dinner

On Thursday 17 May, 2012, Rose Bay Local Area Command will be holding a Charity Dinner at Catalina's Restaurant, Rose Bay. the dinner has been arranged to help celebrate the 150th anniversary of the formation of the New South Wales Police Force and all proceeds from the night will be presented to three worthy charities:- Father Chris Riley's "Youth off the Streets", NSW Police Legacy and Law Enforcement Torch Run NSW. Many thanks to Superintendent Michael Fitzgerald, Detective Inspector Damian Henry, Inspector Andrew Sipos and the staff at Rose Bay for their efforts with this event.
